Security

Thanks to the embedded microchip, the Prepaid Card offers enhanced protection against fraud and card cloning. As a general rule, when making a purchase, you will be asked to enter your PIN to complete transactions above EUR 40.Your online transactions are even more secure thanks to Mastercard SecureCode and Verified by Visa (VBV) security features. You also benefit from an additional layer of protection through a password sent to you by SMS, which may be required when making purchases from online merchants.

Changing the PIN

You can personalize the PIN for your Visa & Mastercard card at any of the Bank’s ATMs. Changing the PIN for these cards is free of charge.If you lose your PIN, it can be reprinted at a branch, subject to the applicable PIN reprinting fee in accordance with the card pricing list.

Some tips for prepaid cards:

  • Keep your PIN separate from your card and never share it with anyone.
  • Always check the amount displayed on the POS terminal before entering your PIN or signing the receipt.

  • Block it as soon as possible by calling +383 38 780 100 or by sending an email to info@bankacredins-ks.com.
  • Visit your nearest branch, report the loss or theft of the card, and request a new card.
